Directions:
Shiver me timbers! This will be the best party ever! The parchment paper invitations (see recipe) mailed in the Message In a Bottle will emphasize how special this party is! On the day of the party, children will each get a pirate hats. They will be ready to be pirates! To add to the fun, the first activity the children all get to do is dig for treasure with the I Dig Treasure Island Pirate Play Day Kit. These Treasure Island Pirate Play Day Kits are fabulous! These are terrific party treasures as well as an amazing party activity! You can have the children hold their treasures in a special treasure chest.
Extensions for this pirate party:
1. Have the children paint the treasure chest black. The children can add red ribbon for a simple decoration. The children will have something to keep their treasures forever!
2. Read out loud a few exciting parts of Pirates! Raiders of the High Seas. Kids are fascinating by anything pirates!
3. Hide some plastic gold coins in a few special places and go on another coin hunt! The kids will have a blast looking for more coins! (This would be similar to an Easter Egg hunt.)
